Shrfu Richard Iser invited schools from the ATSTA to come together to present two demonstrations at the Wentworth Military Academy (WMA). The first demonstration was performed during August 2006. Members from the Kansas City, Odessa, Columbia, St. Charles, St. Louis and Shiloh (IL) came together to participate in the first seminar. The St. Charles and Shiloh schools were not able to attend the second seminar.

Besides the standard demonstration elements of history, empty hand hsings, weapon hsings, breaks (chops, elbows, fists and brick sandwhichs), tein guan, fu hu kan done at the first demonstration, the cadets where invited to come down and join in during the fu hu kan and nie kan part of the second demonstration. The nie kan part of the demonstration was a bit challenging with over 200 cadets on the floor with the demo team as opposed to the 30 cadets at the first demonstration. Both demonstrations presented the concept of Hsing I power. Shrfu Mark Kimzey demonstrated hip power using some of the cadets to demonstrate jin. Shrfu Richard Iser demonstrated Hsing I power by letting one of the cadets to hit hm in the stomach with full power. Of-course, the student was not powerful enough to make a dent in Shrfu Rich. Both demonstrations were a success and fun for all (except Stephanie, but that is a story in itself).

On the way to the demo, the St. Louis group was discussing the usual "challenging circumstance" that comes with every road trip.  For example, the stering snapping in the driveway of Shrfu Richard before the first demonstration, and the "stop" at Emerie, Utah during the road trip to Las Vegas. Will, true to form, this trip was no different. The forecast called for snow to begin at 8:30 pm Saturday night. The plan was to be back to St. Louis before the snow started. As it turned out, the demonstration was moved back about an hour and the demonstration went a little long. The demo group went out to dinner and during dinner the snow started two hours early. By the time the St. Louis and Columia students got on the road - the roads where trouble. So twenty miles and an hour later, both groups had found hotels to wait out the storm and wait for day light. After a good nights sleep with the road crews did their majic, the teams made it home safely and with another story to tell.
